Paulina Rubio Dosamantes (born June 17, 1971) is a Mexican singer and actress.

A sensation on the Latin music scene for years, Paulina Rubio has only begun to emerge as a pop star in the United States.

With her amazing album Border Girl, Paulina began her assault on American airwaves and dance halls, combining terrific hooks, sing-along choruses, seductive rhythms, and lots of energy like no other. On April 30, 2007, she married Spanish public relations executive Nicolas Vallejo Najera "Colate" in Xcaret, a Mexican eco-tourism park on the Mayan Riviera.
